Essential Oils

Hello all!

If you love essential oils as much as I do, you will love doTerra! I recently began using them around the house for various applications and the benefits are amazing. From stress and anxiety management to minor burns and cuts, they have so many uses! Essential oils are more than just pretty smells in fragrance and body products. Looking for some input....

Hello loves!
I have been recently toying with the idea of expanding my products and wanted to get your thoughts. I often get asked at craft fairs if I make soaps and lotions, and until recently had not put serious thought in to it considering I wanted to focus on my candles and scrubs. But I think the time has come for me to try something new....
I have been researching how to make hand soaps and lip butters and wanted to take a poll of what scents, flavors, etc. that you all might be interested in. Feel free to leave a comment below. I am really excited at trying my hand at these two items, and hope that you will enjoy what I come up with! Again, I plan on using only natural, phthalate free scents as I want to keep to true to my purpose and mission.

My new fave baby shower favors!

Check out my newest baby shower favors. I completed them for a friend's baby shower. The baby's room is nautical themed, which made decorating these candles so much fun! Remember, I can personalize your baby shower, wedding, and bridal shower gifts to match your preference!

The festival runs from 9am-4pm. It is sure to be a great time with a lot of vendors, food, and fun!

My new Shabby Chic line!

As promised, here are a few pictures of my new shabby chic line of candles.

Caribbean Teakwood - A bold scent. Think tobacco, amber, musk, tea, sandalwood. A new favorite of mine and more importantly, my friends and clients!

Clean Cotton - fresh linen drying outside in the spring air, lemon, lime, green apple...pure and, well, clean!

Mango Tangerine - an exotic blend of sweet mango and juicy tangerine. Infused with coriander and natural orange essential oils. Absolutely delightful!

McIntosh Apple - smells like its' name....picked right from the tree.

Baby it's cold outside...

Busy making new candles today in this snowy wonderland! I was encouraged to make a wedding line of scents by a friend in the business and here is what I have come up with!

"Autumn Wedding" -  is a ripe apple fragrance combined with bright fruit notes and just a touch of spice, almost reminiscent of apple pie, the perfect autumn wedding scent.

"Spring Wedding" - Honeysuckle and Jasmine - all things Southern - bright and lively with just the right amount of softness and warmth. Honeysuckle is the first sign of spring. 

"Summer Wedding" - tropical Gardenia with a top note sweet and green and a floral body intense and rich truly capturing the natural aroma found in this beautiful flower. Summer wedding in a jar! Reminds me of my own summer wedding.

"Wedding Cake" - Lots of buttery, creamy, and vanilla notes, yummy!

"Wedding Bouquet" - Floral notes of hyacinth, jasmine and gardenia blend with a hint of light musk and amber to round out this intoxicating blend. Every girl dreams of a romantic bouquet. 

"Honeymoon" - will transport you to the islands with its irresistible blend of coconut, pineapple, rum, tangerine, banana, and melon-y sweetness. Add a beach and coconut drink and you are there!

"Happily Ever After"- this fragrance is a luscious fusion of citrus, cherry blossom, hydrangea, apple and peach; with a hint of blondewood, a romantically sweet scent!

First craft show recap....

Here are some pictures from my very first craft show! I had a lot of fun, everyone was very friendly and the show went smoothly.
Note to self.....buy a handcart! Lol. Carrying all of those bins (filled with glass candles and sugar scrubs) was tiring :-)
